Congratulatons to the Theta Chi Brothers who are members of the CHAMPIONSHIP SRU Roller Hockey Association Team. According to the ECHRA website in part: In a thrilling matchup, Slippery Rock emerged victorious in overtime, securing the D2 ECRHA Conference Finals with a final score of 6-5 in overtime against Neumann. The game was marked by intense action from start to finish, with both teams showcasing their offensive prowess. An overtime goal sealed the championship for Slippery Rock. Despite Neumann’s strong efforts, Slippery Rock’s determination proved to be the deciding factor in this closely contested battle. The victory sparked jubilant celebrations among Slippery Rock players and fans, marking a memorable moment in the team’s history.

The reason I ended up joining Theta Chi was because I wanted to meet/make life long friends and I liked the current members. Since joining spring semester of my sophomore year, I’ve had the privilege of making life long friends who have pushed me to focus on my education and make connections from all over the world! Congratulations to Brother Dylan Rider for attending the Resolute Man program in Chicago and becoming the 7th Zeta Alpha member to earn the Resolute Man Designation! Dylan is 2nd from the left in the group picture!
The Zeta Alpha 31st Golf Outing was held June 7 and 8, 2024. Over 50 brothers and friends attended the event and more and more new faces are attending and expressing their enjoyment and enthusiasm to spend time with alumni. There were 10 teams competing in the event this year including:

Grand Chapter member Alan Copelan attended the event again this year. Brother Steve Pennell put in an amazing performance of selling raffle tickets on his own.
A drink and a dog were made available to all attendees.
Dinner and prizes were awarded after the event.
On Friday night prior to the event, early arrivals were welcomed and treated to food (donated by Brother Farrar) at 244 Elm Street in Slippery Rock the chapter opened its doors to all who wish to come and share some brotherhood.
2024 Theta Chi Fraternity 168th Anniversary Celebration and 41st School of Fraternity Practices in New Orleans, Louisiana August 2-6, 2024.
President Joe Hemple and Immediate Past President (now Alumnus) Tyler Ross attended with Alumni member Kevin Krepinevich along with over 525 brothers from the US and Canada.
